MMS offers analysis and advice to clients on how to build and sustain the biological component of their soil, compost, and compost tea. A diverse and healthy biological component promotes nutrient cycling and improves physical characteristics of the soil. Our approach includes:

Preliminary diagnosis  -

Diagnostic testing

Report  -  that interprets all findings in an understandable form to help its clients manage the microbial biomass of soil, compost or compost tea.

MMS offers innovative diagnostic tests to evaluate the ability of its clients’ soil, compost, or compost tea matrix to suppress disease, increase drought resistance, retain and recycle nutrients, and improve soil structure.  These diagnostic tests determine if the level of beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes in compost, compost tea and soils are within the appropriate range needed for a quality matrix that will provide healthy plant growth.

Additional proprietary diagnostic tests will correlate the level of carbon sources and the ability to fix nitrogen and other nutrients.  A compost maturity index based on biological activity will assist composters and compost users in quality control and application guidelines.
